Trane Technologies is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift manufacturing operations in La Crosse, WI. You will use your passion for quality and cost-effectiveness to monitor and coordinate a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment, partnering with other department leads to achieve plant goals.
What You'll Do
- Manage the overall team performance, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
- Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to support ongoing plant programs and goals.
- Collaborate with supervisors and leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
- Communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives regularly with the leadership team and all team members.
- Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.
- Manage conflicting demands and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Provide guidance and feedback to production associates to improve performance through training, development, and performance conversations.
- Communicate updates, ensure smooth operations, and serve as the link between leadership and production teams for decision-making.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and solve production-related problems to enhance efficiency.
- Resolve team conflicts and maintain effective working relationships across the plant.
- Guide teams to achieve production goals and motivate adherence to safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Identify production issues and implement improvements to ensure consistent output quality and safety; support goals like units per man hour, 5S, TAKT attainment, and overall plant cost performance.
What We're Looking For
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience
- Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills
- Effective communication skills that demonstrate being a supportive team member

- Compensation: $63,500-$90,000 annually
