Hyundai USA is seeking a Production Control Automated Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring and management of our AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) logistics supply system, ensuring efficient material flow and optimizing overall supply chain performance within our automotive production environment.
What You'll Do
- Monitor the performance and functionality of AGV systems in real-time.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of AGV operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to align AGV operations with supply chain requirements.
- Analyze data from AGV systems to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze live errors, identify the cause, and apply solutions.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for AGV monitoring and maintenance.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to address technical issues and upgrades related to AGV systems.
- Prepare reports on AGV performance metrics and present to management.
- Perform cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in material control, inventory management, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team working ability.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and logistics management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Previous experience with AGV systems or automated logistics solutions.
- Years of experience in the automotive industry strongly preferred.
- Working skill set in: Data Analytics, SAP, Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skill set: advanced Macro and VBA.
