Department Overview Motorola's Software Enterprise represents a dynamic organization driving strategic growth. The Command Center Software team develops integrated public safety solutions that streamline operational workflows and facilitate comprehensive data management. The product owner assumes responsibility for managing product backlogs, contributing to strategic roadmaps, and comprehensively understanding customer and market requirements for the PremierOne product. Collaborating closely with product managers, they leverage technical expertise to craft user stories, define acceptance criteria, engage engineering teams, and refine backlogs. Critical skills include deep technical architectural understanding, translating functional requirements into development specifications, and articulating technical implications for non-technical stakeholders. This role champions user, customer, and stakeholder needs throughout the development process, ensuring delivered solutions meet project objectives. Success demands simultaneous management of multiple projects across various developmental stages.
