As a Product Owner in the timber construction ERP space, you will lead the definition and execution of the product vision, roadmap, and backlog. Your primary focus will be understanding customer needs through direct engagement and translating those insights into actionable development priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product discovery with customers and internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities
- Define clear problem statements, validate potential solutions, and establish measurable success criteria
- Develop and maintain a well-prioritized backlog with detailed Epics and User Stories, including precise acceptance conditions
- Design and oversee integrations between ERP, MES, and CAD platforms to ensure data consistency and workflow efficiency
- Create and apply strategic frameworks such as Ideal Customer Profiles, personas, empathy maps, Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, and Impact Mapping to align development with business outcomes
- Operate effectively within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment by preparing Program Increment objectives, managing dependencies across teams, and ensuring transparency
- Define and track outcome-based KPIs—including adoption rates, time-to-value, quality metrics, and cycle time—to inform decision-making and prioritize initiatives
Qualifications
You bring demonstrated experience in managing ERP product lifecycles, with a strong ability to lead discovery efforts and translate findings into technical requirements. Proficiency in crafting Epics and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria is essential. You have prior experience designing interfaces across ERP, MES, and CAD systems and are skilled in applying product strategy tools to align teams around value delivery. Familiarity with SAFe practices, including PI planning and dependency management, is required. You are adept at establishing and leveraging KPIs focused on real-world outcomes to guide product evolution.
