About the Role

American Airlines is looking for a Product Owner to join our Customer Experience Division. You will leverage creativity and data-driven decisions to define, deliver, and improve technology strategies for the contact center agent desktop, partnering with IT teams to enhance experiences for customers and employees.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the co-creation of Product Vision and Strategy tied to Portfolio goals.
  • Use technical knowledge including A/B testing, product architecture, DevOps practices, and data analytics to support owned products.
  • Communicate regularly on OKRs, product roadmap, planned development, and releases.
  • Coordinate with other Product team members to manage dependencies and increments of value.
  • Perform continuous product discovery and offer valuable solutions aligned to Product OKRs.
  • Understand budgetary implications and organizational constraints.
  • Use data to define baselines, measure outcomes, share insights, and order backlog items.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, present new technologies, and identify unmet needs.
  • Define and maintain a healthy backlog, adopting organizational standards and presenting items to squads.
  • Seek input from product, process, and technology areas to balance time-sensitive improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal team members from UX, Technology, Vendors, Risk, Compliance, and Security.
  • Influence leaders, squads, and peers on product strategy, roadmap, OKRs, and releases.
  • Practice agility in discovering and delivering value continuously.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience in Product Management/Delivery (e.g., product analyst, user researcher, product owner) OR 5 years of relevant work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience determining Product Market fit and defining a Go-to-Market strategy.
  • Familiarity with Agile Product Management tools.

This role is a member of the Customer Experience Operations Innovation team within the Customer Experience Division.
