Labconco Corporation is hiring a Product Manager to guide the strategy and growth of an assigned portfolio, including Pharmaceutical Containment Enclosures, Inert Gloveboxes, and Water Purification Systems. You will develop market understanding, lead product strategy, and serve as a key technical resource for dealers, end users, and internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Manage marketing activities to promote your product portfolio, including developing sales support materials, dealer support materials, promotions, and annual marketing plans.
- Research markets, product applications, and the competitive environment, bringing insights and product ideas to the New Products Committee.
- Analyze the competitive landscape, build competitive files, and identify differences between Labconco products and competitor offerings.
- Lead Product Development Team(s) for your assigned portfolio, develop Product Development Proposals, and implement Market Introduction Plans.
- Use field travel to build market and product knowledge and assist Sales Representatives or customers.
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications to develop promotional programs and educational content.
- Provide training, conduct seminars, and develop training materials for your assigned product portfolio.
- Understand the applications and operation of products, gathering and publishing end-user applications.
- Provide technical, application, and sales support for your portfolio to Customer Service, Field Representatives, Sales Representatives, Dealers, and End Users.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferably in life sciences); or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a laboratory setting with a solid understanding of laboratory equipment, its use, and applications.
- Experience with technical instrumentation, pharmaceutical containment, and/or inert glove boxes for chemistry or materials science applications.
