Beacon Biosignals is hiring a Senior Product Designer to own the design of policy configuration, compliance, and governance workflows. You will translate complex security and regulatory requirements into intuitive, scalable experiences that help organizations enforce standards and govern their software development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Own design for security policy and compliance experiences, leading end-to-end design for policy configuration, reporting, and SDLC governance.
- Translate technical complexity into clear experiences by partnering with security experts to understand frameworks and enforcement logic.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and teams across multiple security product groups.
- Deliver high craft quality, demonstrating strong interaction design, visual design, and attention to detail.
- Contribute to the design system by identifying reusable patterns, proposing components, and ensuring adherence.
- Ground work in research through usability studies, competitor evaluations, and collaboration with UX Research.
- Communicate designs clearly with wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Practice effective iteration, breaking down designs to fit release cadences and reviewing user-facing changes.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-grade security, compliance, or DevSecOps products.
- A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work, from problem framing through shipped solutions.
- Experience designing holistic workflows and translating complex technical concepts into user-centered experiences.
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience fostering partnerships across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Systems thinking and experience contributing to or working with design systems.
- Experience conducting research and making strategic decisions about when and how to validate design decisions.
- Strong visual design skills with the ability to balance system consistency with custom solutions.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams.
- Proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools.
