Realtor.com Careers is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead design for our buyer business and platform work streams. You will build, lead, and mentor a team of product designers to create high-quality, user-centric B2B experiences, collaborating closely with product and engineering to execute a bold vision.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the design team delivers high-quality experiences prioritizing usability, accessibility, and consistency.
- Support cross-functional teams in applying human-centered design principles to translate user needs into solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution and adoption of design systems for efficiency and scalability.
- Provide design feedback to strengthen project outcomes and team growth.
- Advocate for user research and data-driven decision making to inform design strategies.
- Define and track success metrics for design impact using research and data.
- Balance short-term outcomes with long-term strategic vision.
- Articulate design with credibility, clarity, and confidence to leadership.
- Build partnerships with Product, Engineering, and other key partners.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of product designers.
- Lead with empathy, setting clear expectations and fostering accountability.
- Give and receive clear, actionable feedback.
- Promote employee growth paths and talent retention.
- Provide visibility and accountability for your team’s work.
- Promote operational excellence by refining design workflows, tools, and collaboration practices.
- Drive the understanding and adoption of design methodologies and frameworks.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and design-led initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- 8+ years working in the design industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years working in a product-led organization.
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing/mentoring a team of three or more designers.
- A strong visual aesthetic and design point of view, exampled in a rich portfolio.
- Experience delivering iteratively with cross-disciplined teams.
- Highly skilled at problem framing and leading teams through the design process while navigating ambiguity.
- Informed and strong opinions, loosely held.
- A practitioner of user-centric processes and design thinking principles.
- Exemplifies a We, Not Me attitude.
Nice to Have
- Background in B2B experiences or marketplaces.

You will manage a team of three or more designers and report to the Director of Client Design.
