Deltek is looking for a Product Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will research and create content for documentation projects while developing a strong understanding of our products and the customers who use them.

What You'll Do

Take responsibility, with supervision, for researching and creating content for documentation projects, including working with Subject Matter Experts.
Participate in non-complex to moderately complex projects.
Participate in and collaborate with scrum teams, meeting team deadlines and providing valuable input.
Develop a basic understanding of different areas of a Deltek product and the types of businesses we serve.
Develop a basic understanding of the industry for a Deltek product and identify the product's benefits for customers.
Participate in team decision-making about content, technology, and process issues.
Take personal responsibility for your own career development and progression.
Participate in learning activities to build your skills and knowledge.
Contribute to a supportive, friendly team that values inclusivity and is invested in learning, knowledge sharing, and each other.
Use AI tools to assist with routine tasks like drafting emails and summarizing meetings.

What We're Looking For

2-5 years of experience in a technical writing or related communication role, OR a bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field.
Solid English writing skills, with the ability to describe complex concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of software development processes.
The potential to become fluent with XML authoring tools, content management systems, and collaboration and source-control tools.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
