About the Role

Illumina is looking for a Product Care Representative to join our Canadian Inside Sales group. You will drive and manage sales of our Product Care Portfolio of services within your assigned territories, meeting or surpassing targets for instrument service contracts and professional services while promoting service sales at the time of new instrument purchases.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve and surpass all Product Care sales targets and quotas.
  • Initiate, maintain, and own the service contract renewal sales process within your assigned districts.
  • Manage all inbound and outbound customer communication for renewals, quotes, and coordination with internal resources.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with the existing customer base for professional services.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Develop a team-based selling approach to increase service revenue at the point of new instrument sales.
  • Maintain CRM and databases for accurate contract renewal status and forecasting.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience; an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with strategic selling, working with cross-functional teams, and knowledge of instrument services and value-based selling.
  • Comfort conducting professional presentations to customers, peers, and management.
  • Highly self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented approach to tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as a collaborative team player.
  • Quick learner with high adaptability and effective planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in English is required.

Nice to Have

  • Life Sciences industry experience.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience or related customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is strongly preferred.

This role is part of the Canadian Inside Sales group.

  • Compensation range: $62,500 – $93,700 CAD. Eligible roles may receive equity.
