Zurich Canada is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage a supplier database within a specific area of specialization. You will partner closely with internal clients requesting goods or services, becoming a strategic ally in the contracting and purchasing process to secure the best agreements for the company and optimize the budget.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a database of existing and potential suppliers according to the types of goods or services defined for the role.
- Track contracts nearing expiration to manage renewal processes.
- Receive and manage acquisition requests for goods or services based on internal client needs and budget alignment, seeking improvements.
- Prepare quotes based on requests, providing supplier analysis and evaluation to facilitate the internal client's decision-making.
- Generate purchase orders for the goods or services to be acquired and validate that all required approvals are met.
- Monitor generated savings, both financial and from general purchasing activities.
What We're Looking For
- Completed university studies in Business Administration, Commercial Engineering, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within service-based companies.
- Technical knowledge in: Tenders (Licitaciones), Intermediate English, and Intermediate Excel.
