HIAB USA, a leader in load handling equipment, seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of all materials for truck-upfitting activities. You will be responsible for sourcing, vendor relationships, and cost-saving initiatives to support our national and customer service centers.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for all direct raw materials, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and qualify high-performing vendors and suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Manage all procurement for truck-upfitting, guaranteeing the timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality standards.
- Streamline and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and manage supplier relationships to build long-term, strategic partnerships.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a 2-year degree in Sourcing/Procurement or a similar field.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential, with demonstrated experience in the Materials Management module.
- Proven track record of strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Ability to travel <10% of the year to 3rd parties and other Hiab USA locations nationally.
