STADA Arzneimittel AG is hiring a Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical APIs. You will ensure a timely, cost-effective, and compliant supply of materials to support our production, new product introduction, and strategic projects in Vietnam.
What You'll Do
- Manage the procurement of APIs in accordance with approved supplier lists, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support production plans and inventory targets.
- Verify completeness and compliance of supplier documentation such as Certificates of Analysis and quality agreements.
- Proactively manage risks related to supply continuity, lead times, shelf life, and quality issues.
- Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to resolve deviations, shortages, or delivery delays.
- Support sourcing activities for API materials for New Product Introduction, Tech Transfer, and Alternate Sourcing projects.
- Prepare RFQ/RFP documents, cost comparisons, and sourcing proposals aligned with project timelines.
- Coordinate sample ordering and supplier documentation collection during project execution.
- Maintain professional relationships with external suppliers in line with company principles.
- Support supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and qualification processes.
- Participate in commercial negotiations, contract execution, and price discussions to achieve cost efficiency and supply security.
- Identify alternative suppliers or sourcing options when required.
- Create, track, and maintain purchase orders and contracts in SAP systems.
- Monitor order confirmations, deliveries, and invoice accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports on spend, savings, supplier performance, and project status.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation in compliance with internal procedures and audits.
- Act as a reliable procurement partner for internal stakeholders including Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Production, and Project teams.
- Communicate proactively on material availability, risks, and changes impacting supply or project execution.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in procurement.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) for supplier and internal communication.
- Good attitude with an open-minded mindset, positive thinking, proactive approach, and a drive for improvement.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing industry.
- Experience in sourcing or purchasing direct materials, specifically APIs.
- Basic knowledge of GMP/GDP and pharmaceutical supply chain requirements.
