Inventive Food Technology is hiring a Process Technician I for our 2nd shift. In this onsite role at our Freeze Dry plant, you will process and package cultures by mixing, blending, formulating, and packaging batches of raw ingredients into finished products according to formulas and stringent quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Ensure adherence to quality systems including ISO 9001, Food Safety GMP’s, HACCP, FSSC 22000, NSF, ICH Q7, and IFF’s Quality Policy.
- Comply with all Company policies for Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, HAACP, and Attendance.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to make necessary adjustments in the production process.
- Load and unload process equipment.
- Recognize atypical conditions in the production area and contact the appropriate authority.
- Move raw materials, equipment, and final products throughout the plant.
- Maintain accurate written records or logs of all production processes, equipment, maintenance, and routine cleaning.
- Assemble and disassemble production equipment as required.
- Clean, sanitize, and sterilize all production/packaging equipment and process areas.
- Assist in maintaining process and non-process areas in compliance with regulatory agencies.
