Eurofins Scientific is hiring a Problem Manager

Eurofins Scientific is looking for a Problem Manager to join our team. In this role, you will govern the end-to-end Problem Management lifecycle to reduce recurring incidents, identify root causes, and drive sustainable corrective actions. You will act as the single point of contact for all Problems, coordinating activities across teams to support continuous improvement and overall service stability.

What You'll Do

• Own and improve the ITIL-aligned Problem Management process.
• Review and triage Problems for completeness, priority, and incident linkage.
• Maintain the Problem backlog, identify tasks and owners, and track progress.
• Lead RCA sessions using structured methods like 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Fault Tree.
• Validate RCA results and document evidence-based root causes and known errors.
• Develop, track, and follow up on CAPA plans with clear owners and due dates.
• Coordinate with Support, Application, Infrastructure, Developers, and Service Providers.
• Ensure fixes are implemented, tested in UAT, and prepared for Production deployment.
• Validate implementation and ensure monitoring and alerting are updated.
• Communicate resolution to Business Customers and formally close Problems.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead periodic Problem Review meetings.

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge of ITIL Problem Management.
• Experience in IT or Application Support or Service Operations.
• Understanding of RCA techniques and analytical problem-solving.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or BMC Helix.
• Understanding across applications, databases, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Comfortable reviewing logs in Grafana, dashboards, and performing basic data analysis.
• Strong coordination, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication; able to simplify complex issues.
• Proactive, structured, and persistent follow-up to ensure closure.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.

Nice to Have

• ITIL Foundation certification.
