About the Role
Lead the design research vision by planning, executing, and synthesizing insights from user studies to influence product direction and enhance user experience across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute comprehensive research roadmaps aligned with product goals
- Conduct generative and evaluative research using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Translate user insights into actionable design recommendations
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to integrate research findings
- Mentor junior researchers and promote research best practices
- Develop research plans including objectives, methodologies, and timelines
- Present findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and workshops
- Establish and maintain a centralized repository of research insights
- Identify opportunities for longitudinal user studies
- Ensure ethical standards in participant recruitment and data handling
- Design and moderate usability testing sessions
- Synthesize complex data into clear, impactful narratives
- Advocate for user needs throughout the development lifecycle
- Evaluate emerging research tools and methodologies
- Support the creation of personas and journey maps
- Facilitate co-design sessions with users and stakeholders
- Integrate accessibility considerations into research planning
- Measure and report on research impact to leadership
- Partner with data science to align behavioral analytics with user insights
- Maintain awareness of industry trends in UX research
- Scale research operations to support growing product demands
- Standardize templates and processes for consistent output
- Promote a culture of curiosity and user empathy across teams
- Balance strategic research initiatives with tactical sprint support
- Ensure research inclusivity across diverse user groups
