About the Role

Lead the development and optimization of foundational infrastructure systems that power large-scale services, ensuring performance, reliability, and future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust backend systems to support platform scalability
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify infrastructure needs
  • Drive technical decisions for long-term system architecture
  • Mentor engineers in best practices for infrastructure development
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance
  • Ensure systems are resilient under high-traffic conditions
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed environments
  • Optimize resource usage and reduce operational costs
  • Maintain system security and compliance standards
  • Develop automation tools for deployment and monitoring
  • Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
  • Work closely with product teams to align infrastructure with roadmap goals
  • Define metrics and dashboards for system health
  • Improve developer workflows through infrastructure enhancements
  • Support migration of legacy systems to modern platforms
  • Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
  • Promote observability and logging best practices
  • Evaluate third-party services and vendor solutions
  • Ensure infrastructure supports rapid iteration and deployment
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence across teams

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
