What You'll Do
Drive the architecture and refinement of advanced FMCW radar systems with a focus on maximizing signal integrity and detection accuracy in cluttered environments. You'll take ownership of real-time signal processing pipelines, crafting optimized implementations in VHDL and C++ that run efficiently on embedded platforms.
Develop and deploy cutting-edge radar algorithms that exceed current industry benchmarks, ensuring the system maintains a technological edge. Define critical RF parameters and work closely with hardware teams to ensure the software stack fully exploits the capabilities of the physical layer.
Integrate robustness features inspired by defense-grade systems into commercial applications, especially in contested or noisy RF conditions. Challenge existing design paradigms and legacy constraints to elevate system performance. Explore the application of AI and machine learning within the signal chain to improve automated target recognition and threat assessment.
