Accompany Health is looking for a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our mission-driven team. You will be responsible for leading the architecture, development, and deployment of high-impact machine learning systems that directly improve patient care and health outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and deploy scalable, reliable machine learning models and systems into production
- Lead the technical strategy and architecture for ML initiatives across the organization
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers and data scientists
- Translate complex, often ambiguous healthcare challenges into well-defined ML problems and solutions
- Establish and advocate for best practices in ML development, including MLOps, model monitoring, and validation
- Collaborate closely with product, clinical, and business stakeholders to align technical work with strategic goals
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as a technical leader in designing and deploying machine learning systems at scale
- Deep expertise in modern machine learning techniques, frameworks, and the full production lifecycle
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, data structures, and algorithms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- A commitment to building robust, ethical, and impactful AI systems
