EDF power solutions UK and Ireland is hiring a Principal Engineering Manager - Electrical & Operational Technology

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical and operational technology strategies.
  • Lead a team of engineers to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
  • Manage the delivery of electrical and operational technology projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage budgets and resources for electrical and operational technology projects.
  • Ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement operational technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and operational technology systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of electrical and operational technology systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for electrical and operational technology services.
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of electrical and operational technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement electrical and operational technology policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of electrical and operational technology systems.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
