Role Overview
This is a fully remote, U.S.-based position supporting the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Government Strategic Programs team. The Principal Contract Analyst will manage the complete lifecycle of federal contracts, primarily focused on Veterans Affairs (VA) vehicles. As the internal expert, you will ensure alignment with federal acquisition regulations and support seamless execution of government-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee federal contract portfolios including FSS, BPAs, and IDIQs
- Implement pricing updates and manage standardization agreements at the VISN level
- Lead pricing strategies and negotiations for competitive contract displacements
- Administer contract renewals, modifications, and option-year extensions
- Maintain a comprehensive contract lifecycle tracking system to prevent lapses
- Serve as the main point of contact for VA RPM-HT contract activities
- Manage the MCMS Health Technology contract, including platform adjustments and renewals
- Navigate VA internal processes such as ePAS submissions and coordination with CORs and signatories
- Ensure compliance with FAR and VAAR requirements across all contract actions
- Maintain audit-ready documentation with zero compliance deviations
- Support sales and government account teams in identifying appropriate contract pathways
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other internal groups on complex or non-standard agreements
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a High School Diploma with at least 8 years of experience in government contracting, an Associate’s degree with 6 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 4 years. For international degrees, compliance with 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Preferred candidates will have direct experience with FSS/MAS and VA contracts, knowledge of ePAS and VAAR, and background in healthcare or regulated industries. Familiarity with FAR Parts 8, 12, 15, and 19 is strongly desired.
