Énergir is seeking a Principal Construction Project Manager to direct and coordinate gas network construction projects. This role manages the entire project lifecycle from estimation through on-site construction with external contractors. You will supervise a team of project technicians, collaborate with internal teams like engineering and sales, and ensure projects meet network integrity, cost, and timeline requirements.
What You'll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise assigned construction projects within the covered territory.
- Manage project stages including estimation, planning, plan preparation, and execution with external contractors.
- Review plans and technical documents produced by engineering before their use on-site.
- Supervise and support a team of project technicians in their daily activities.
- Ensure work quality, respect for costs and deadlines, and compliance with network integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments and negotiate with external parties, including municipalities and specialized firms.
- Properly document completed projects and contribute to annual workforce planning.
- Travel to the field to monitor team activities and project progress.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Relevant experience in construction project management or municipal works.
- Functional bilingualism.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
