Centene Management Company LLC is hiring a Principal Cloud Architect to lead the creation and evolution of our public cloud platforms. In this senior leadership role, you will define the architectural direction and ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Lead the creation and development of architecture and development of public cloud solutions.
- Direct and execute the buildout and management of platforms in the cloud.
- Maintain reliability and security requirements are met.
- Lead the Cloud Architects in the development of the overall cloud architecture.
- Create and develop standards, frameworks, patterns, and processes to benefit existing stakeholders.
- Partner with key stakeholders, industry experts, and technical peers to understand technology and business requirements.
- Develop, lead and communicate the technical architecture direction and roadmap for cloud capabilities.
- Sustain a strong understanding of the current cloud platform and proactively lead analysis to detect deficiencies, gaps, and opportunities.
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
- Provide guidance as it relates to cloud automation and CI/CD capabilities.
- Ensure compliance of solutions to architectural standards.
- Collaborate with security architecture and information security to ensure integrity of solutions and meet enterprise standards and policies.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with 6 – 8 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
