Lead the advancement of cardiac ablation care as a Principal Affera Mapping Specialist, providing hands-on expertise in electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems. You will deliver comprehensive training and real-time clinical support to physicians and hospital staff, ensuring confident and proper use of Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) technologies across facilities in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and procedural training to clinical teams on EP mapping platforms and CAS product applications.
- Support physicians during procedures, offering guidance on system operation and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand product utilization within the region.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders to promote safe, effective implementation of ablation technologies.
- Act as a subject matter expert, sharing insights to elevate team proficiency in mapping systems.
- Support territory sales goals by aligning clinical expertise with regional business objectives.
Qualifications
Eligible candidates will hold a high school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience, an associate degree with 8 years, or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years in cardiac mapping or related clinical environments. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 25% are required, including local daily mobility and occasional overnight trips. You must be physically able to work extended hours in clinical settings, including standing, walking, and operating computer systems.
Preferred Experience
- Degree in nursing, life sciences, or a technical field with at least four years in cardiology or EP lab support.
- Background in clinical training, technical education, or field support within cardiac ablation or hospital settings.
- Proven ability to adapt to dynamic clinical environments and communicate effectively with medical professionals.
Work Environment
This role is based remotely within the assigned Texas territory, requiring daily availability for unscheduled clinical needs. You will frequently travel locally and may occasionally support neighboring regions. The position demands flexibility to respond to procedural schedules and training demands across multiple sites.
