Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop & direct the visual style of the products cinematics, gameplay events and transitional scenes.
- Contribute to the overall artistic direction of multiple products.
- Direct visual storytelling and displays the ability to understand how to create compelling visuals.
- Ensure that cinematic elements aid in enhancing overall experience.
- Work closely with all key stakeholders (Art, Animation, UI, Tech Art) to deliver on key initiatives.
- Work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously, innovating and iterating on our current social gaming offerings.
- Review and discuss production priorities, timelines, and scope with the producer.
- Collaborates with other team leaders and departments.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in the gaming industry.
- Successfully shipped AA and AAA titles across multiple platforms.
- Experience with AAA cinematic creation/direction.
- Experience working with brands and developing brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Unreal Engine, 3dsMax, Maya, Motion Builder).
- AI workflow to demonstrate/illustrate ideas and concepts quickly.
- Collaborative and open minded, curious and not afraid to push boundaries and explore.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with games as a service on Mobile/PC/console is a plus.
- Proficiency in video editing software is a plus.
- Previous experience within AR/VR is an asset.

Structure: Remote team originally based in Toronto, working across multiple projects and collaborating with key stakeholders including Art, Animation, UI, and Tech Art.
