CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) is hiring a Pre-Approval Manager to act as a key liaison between internal teams and external clients. In this role, you will oversee the loan process from start to finish, working directly to secure the best financial outcomes for our borrowers.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by communicating with borrowers to explain loan programs, costs, and documents.
- Review and audit income, assets, and credit documentation, running DU to ensure loan stability.
- Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers.
- Assist in managing a pipeline of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage products.
- Ensure the loan structure presents the best program based on the borrower’s financial circumstances.
- Review files for any missing documentation needed to support approval.
- Communicate loan program details and costs with borrowers (license required for this duty).
- Pre-underwrite items such as paystubs, credit reports, W2s, and bank statements to support loan approval.
- Input data for disclosures and structure loans to best fit borrower needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.
- Excellent math, analytics, communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Encompass LOS.
- Prior underwriting experience.
