About the Role

Careers is hiring a Pre-Access Registration Specialist I to be a key part of ensuring a smooth patient experience before arrival at the hospital. Your core purpose will be to streamline registration, reduce wait times, and provide financial clarity by gathering information, verifying insurance, and collecting payments for appointments, surgeries, and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Assist patients with pre-registering for upcoming appointments, surgeries, or procedures
  • Gather important information from patients
  • Verify medical insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Identify and explain co-insurance, co-pay, and out-of-pocket patient responsibilities
  • Provide cost estimates to patients and collect payments
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure patient satisfaction through effective communication
  • Multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Meet productivity and call center quality measures
  • Self-resolve technical issues with minimal assistance

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent OR four years of revenue cycle experience
  • Minimum of two years of revenue cycle experience, working in an acute care facility, medical office, or call center
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications)
  • Excellent Internet connection

Nice to Have

  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Experience with Epic preferred

  • Compensation: $19.29 - $24.99 per hour

Work Mode

This is a remote position. Candidates should be located in the Broomfield, Colorado area.
