The University of Pittsburgh's Department of Bioengineering invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position within the 7 Tesla Bioengineering Research Program (7TBRP). Under the supervision of Dr. Tamer Ibrahim, you will assist in NIH-funded research projects focused on 7 Tesla neuroimaging, with several projects immediately available. Your role will contribute to the dissemination of scientific findings through manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
What You'll Do
- Process 7T MRI data for analysis of brain function, structure, volumes, and other metrics.
- Work on advancements in AI reconstruction of structural imaging data.
- Optimize MR acquisition protocols for functional and structural neuroimaging.
- Engage in 7T MRI sequence coding and development.
- Participate in 7T MRI Hardware Development.
- Contribute to the dissemination of scientific findings through preparation of manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Completed or soon-to-be-completed doctoral studies in bioengineering, electrical engineering, or closely related disciplines.
- Experience in MR imaging and analysis.
- Advanced computation skills, including abilities in Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python.
- Ability to work well with others in a team of like-minded researchers and interdisciplinary collaborators.
- A commitment of at least 2 years.
