Modern Family Law is hiring a Post-Bar Law Clerk/Associate

About the Role

Modern Family Law is seeking 3L law students graduating in December 2025 or May 2026 to serve as Post-Bar Law Clerks in Colorado, with a clear path to becoming an Associate Attorney after passing the Bar exam. This role provides hands-on training, mentorship, and early responsibility in family law litigation within a supportive, growth-oriented, and hybrid work environment.

What You'll Do

  • Join the firm after sitting for the Bar exam
  • Receive training and mentorship from the Learning & Development team
  • Participate in initial client consultations
  • Work as part of a team in a respectful and growth-oriented environment
  • Learn how to manage cases from start to finish
  • Represent clients as first chair on cases upon licensure
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail

What We're Looking For

  • Be a 3L law student graduating in December 2025 (sitting for February 2026 Bar exam) or May 2026 (sitting for July 2026 Bar exam)
  • Sit for the Bar exam in Colorado
  • Plan to reside in Colorado
  • Be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations as defined by ADA

  • Starting at $66,560 (clerk) or $110,000 (associate); actual pay adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors
