Role Overview
The Portal Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management and technical oversight of a partner portal and e-communication platform. This system serves as a central point for distributing product updates, promotional content, pricing information, and essential tools to external partners. The administrator ensures that all content is accurately published, systems function reliably, and technical integrations operate seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain portal pages, portlets, and integrated tools to support business needs.
- Collaborate with product teams, technical developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to maintain system stability.
- Act as the first point of contact for production incidents, troubleshooting problems and coordinating with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Validate portal functionality regularly, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity across releases.
- Support project initiatives by contributing to user story refinement, acceptance criteria, and testing processes.
- Use backend systems to publish and manage content on the portal, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery.
- Perform data analysis and process evaluations to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and quality improvements.
- Explore emerging technologies and programming methods to recommend and implement innovative solutions, including AI-driven or automated workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and spoken English (minimum B2 level).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional experience, preferably in multinational organizations.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in software development or web technologies.
- Hands-on experience with application testing and web development tools including JavaScript, JSP, jQuery, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and HTML.
