GFIC is hiring a Poland Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients Distribution

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will lead business development for specialized food ingredients in Poland, focusing on proteins, hydrocolloids, and functional solutions. Working from a home office, you will engage directly with food and beverage manufacturers, understanding their formulation challenges and delivering tailored technical and commercial support.

What You'll Do

You will design and execute sales strategies for specific ingredient categories, identifying new opportunities through market and supplier analysis. Your role includes regular customer visits across Poland, where you will assess technical needs, support product development, and conduct trials—either on-site or in our application kitchen. You’ll develop customized formulations, prepare pricing proposals, and manage project follow-up, including payment tracking.

Collaboration with European, African, and West Asian suppliers is key. You’ll align strategies with supplier partners, share performance reports, and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships. You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, including labeling, import regulations, and product registrations.

Requirements

  • Formal education in food technology or food chemistry
  • 3–5 years of experience in food ingredients, ideally in sales, R&D, or production
  • Fluent in both Polish and English, written and spoken
  • Valid driver’s license with readiness to travel domestically
  • Strong problem-solving skills and genuine interest in food innovation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
  • Highly organized, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Deep understanding of the Polish food processing industry and market dynamics
  • Open, proactive attitude with a focus on long-term collaboration
