PIPA GmbH is hiring a Platform Operations Engineer (DevOps) (m/w/d) to design the foundation for operating a stable and scalable cloud infrastructure within a long-term managed service project for one of Europe's largest tech companies. You'll ensure the smooth operation of Kubernetes environments and contribute significantly to service quality and platform development.

What You'll Do

Operate and further develop global cloud infrastructures (Kubernetes, APIs, monitoring tools)
Manage incidents and problems, including root cause analysis
Implement optimizations at system and process levels
Perform on-call duty in team rotation (24/7, with a response time of < 5 minutes)
Collaborate closely with engineering, service, and customer teams
Participate in cross-team communication in English (daily/weekly meetings remote, team days on-site)

What We're Looking For

Solid experience in operating Kubernetes environments
Willingness to undergo an SÜ2 security clearance check
Willingness to perform on-call duties (with extra compensation)
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

Experience in customer communication
Knowledge in other areas of platform development (e.g., automation, CI/CD)

You will join a 25-person DevOps team, which is part of a larger team within a global large-scale project, reporting to Daniela Abidi-Völbel.
