We are seeking a Platform Engineer to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will apply your DevOps platform experience to support strategy, design, and ensure standards throughout the containerization process.
What You'll Do
- Develop container management software to solve client challenges.
- Use the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration.
- Support team by informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
- Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers.
- Support the development of critical cloud platforms.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with software development or programming in a DevOps environment.
- 3+ years of experience with automation tools, including Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet.
- 3+ years of experience managing Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab and GitHub.
- 2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of start date.
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI/CD.
- Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML.
- Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
- Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration.
- Agile Certification.
- DevOps Certification.
- Cloud Certification.
