What You'll Do
As the Plant Optimization Leader, you will serve as the central expert for optimization initiatives within the manufacturing facility. You will guide plant leadership and frontline teams in applying structured methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and sustain long-term operational gains.
You will build strong alignment with regional optimization leadership to assess current progress, identify resource needs, and shape strategic deployment plans. Your role includes coaching and developing leaders and associates to adopt proven practices that support a culture of continuous improvement.
You will lead efforts to strengthen problem-solving capabilities across the organization, focusing on identifying and eliminating production losses that impact performance. You will also supervise the Plant Optimization Specialist and facilitate knowledge sharing with peer facilities to promote best practices and consistent execution.
Requirements
- At least five years of management experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proven track record in leading and rolling out continuous improvement programs
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and their practical application
- Strong grasp of human factors involved in change implementation
- Solid knowledge of the Plant Optimization framework and process lifecycle
- Deep expertise in a minimum of two optimization pillars, with broader experience preferred
- Experience applying problem-solving tools and supporting improvement projects across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience embedding optimization pillars successfully within a plant environment
- Previous role as a Pillar Leader in a Plant Optimization program
