About the Role
The planner will be responsible for overseeing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth operations and meet customer demand.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to adjust schedules as needed
- Analyze supply chain performance and recommend improvements
- Support procurement by providing accurate demand projections
- Manage safety stock levels to prevent shortages
- Produce regular reports on planning accuracy and inventory status
- Respond to changes in demand or supply disruptions quickly
- Ensure compliance with sustainability goals in sourcing and production
- Facilitate communication between logistics, sales, and operations
- Maintain accurate records of material availability and lead times
- Assist in forecasting for new product launches
- Identify risks in the supply chain and suggest mitigation strategies
- Optimize order quantities to balance cost and availability
- Support audits by providing planning and inventory documentation
- Use planning software to model scenarios and update forecasts
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in operations
- Align planning activities with environmental and ethical standards
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to coordinate output
- Ensure production plans support customer delivery commitments
- Track key performance indicators for planning accuracy
- Help onboard new suppliers by sharing planning requirements
