Guidehouse is hiring a Physician Coding Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations for our physician coding clients. This remote role combines hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities, requiring you to perform coding tasks for 20% of your time while providing project oversight, supervising coders, and conducting training for the other 80%.
What You'll Do
- Supervise day-to-day operations for Physician Coding Clients
- Perform physician coding tasks for a portion of the workload
- Provide project oversight, coder supervision, and ongoing training
What We're Looking For
- University Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
- Currently certified as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) through AAPC
- Experience supervising a team of coders
- Proficiency in physician communication
- Experience in identifying documentation improvement opportunities for providers and communicating them effectively
Nice to Have
- CPMA and other specialty credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in analyzing data and organizing reports

- Compensation range: $68,000.00-$113,000.00
