Allied Services is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant. Under the supervision of the Director of Rehab and Physical Therapists, you will provide physical therapy treatment for assigned patients, implement treatment plans, document progress, and supervise aides and students.
What You'll Do
- Assist with implementing and documenting Physical Therapy treatment and progress for your assigned caseload.
- Consult with Physical Therapists regarding patient progress.
- Maintain productivity standard expectations.
- Communicate and collaborate with supervising therapists regarding patient progress, issues, and goals.
- Communicate with the Scheduling Coordinator regarding scheduling needs.
- Assist the department director with functions like data collection, chart reviews, performance improvement activities, program planning, in-services, and patient scheduling.
- Provide supervision and feedback to aides, PTA students, volunteers, and observers.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the PA State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.
- CPR certification must be obtained and maintained.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
- Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care appropriate to the age-specific needs and culture of the patient served.
Nice to Have
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Director of Rehab and PT Team Leader.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position in Pennsylvania.
