RentVision is hiring a Photographer/Videographer for a seasonal role, traveling to apartment communities to create essential marketing content. You'll be a key part of our mission to make renting apartments easy, capturing high-quality visual assets that help prospective residents find their next home.
What You'll Do
- Capture photo and video content according to RentVision's specific process and deliverables.
- Travel to client properties within a 200-mile radius of the Kansas City metro area to conduct shoots.
- Be open to optional travel to different cities or states, including airline travel and overnight stays.
- Manage your calendar and stay on top of planned shoots, locations, and capture requirements.
- Manage media diligently, following the prescribed process for notes and file handling.
- Interact professionally with on-site apartment community staff during shoots.
- Collaborate remotely with the Media Team and stay in close contact with your manager and travel coordinator.
What We're Looking For
- Videography and photography experience from professional contexts (e.g., weddings, commercials, corporate events).
- A strong working knowledge of professional mirrorless cameras (Canon preferred).
- You are a collaborator and integral part of the creative team.
- You can adapt to change and be a strong decision-maker while on the road.
- You are consistent and persistent in producing large quantities of visual content adhering to brand standards.
- You want to be an adventurer and are prepared for regular travel.
- Ability to handle physical demands: valid driver's license and vehicle, ability to move up to 60 lbs of equipment, work and move for several hours, occasionally work outdoors in heat.
- A top-notch customer service mindset, being on time and communicating well.
- A working knowledge of modern communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Dropbox, Slack, G-Suite) or ability to learn quickly.

- Interest in fulfilling occasional travel beyond the local metro area.

Team & Environment
You'll join a Media Team with 30+ years of combined real estate photo and video experience. You'll work alongside this team, report to a direct manager, be coordinated by a travel coordinator, and receive feedback from the editing and media production team.
