The E.W. Scripps Company is hiring a Photographer for its NBC affiliate, WTMJ, in Milwaukee. You will capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms, working directly with the newsroom to develop impactful local stories.
What You'll Do
- Capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms.
- Operate and maintain live equipment including microwave, satellite, and related news gathering gear.
- Work in tandem with newsroom personnel to create and develop news stories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice to Have
- Associates degree in a related discipline.
- Generally 2+ years of experience in a related field.
Technical Stack
- Video camera, video editing equipment, and lighting.
- Computer based editing systems.
- Live microwave truck.
- Station's web sites.
Team & Environment
You will work in tandem with newsroom personnel to create and develop news stories.

This is an onsite position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
