ExactCare Pharmacy, LLC is hiring an experienced Pharmacy Technician - Operations to ensure patients consistently receive quality care from our pharmacy services. In this role, you will navigate multiple pharmacy software systems and support various stages of patient care from an office or remote cubicle environment.
What You'll Do
- Process incoming and outgoing prescription transfer requests, verifying all patient and prescription data
- Review account billing for accuracy and communicate changes with patients
- Coordinate patient profiles with appropriate pharmacy support and services
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience daily in a phone-based environment
- Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks
- Work through current case queues to solve problems for patient care issues
- Conduct patient outreach to collect payments and coordinate payment plans
- Maintain patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Accurately retrieve all prescription information and verify details through doctor calls
- Perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base
- Complete other tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
- Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate
- Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to perform in an office-based or remote setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9am until 5:30pm
