CVS Health is hiring a Back-End Pharmacy Technician for a 2nd Shift, Full-Time role at Omnicare. You will ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients in a closed-door pharmacy, working primarily on order fulfillment. This role is part of CVS Health's mission to provide more connected, convenient, and compassionate care.
What You'll Do
- Work in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging.
- Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely.
- Perform physical inventories of medication.
- Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy.
- Coordinate stock rotations.
What We're Looking For
- Certification, license, or registration as a pharmacy technician as required by state law.
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- PTCB National Certification.
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
