About the Role
This position is responsible for leading initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of pharmacy programs by leveraging analytics, identifying performance trends, and implementing solutions in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Analyze pharmacy claims and program data to identify performance trends and opportunities
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools
- Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical teams to support program development
- Evaluate the impact of pharmacy benefit changes on cost and utilization
- Support the implementation of cost-saving strategies and formulary management initiatives
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes affecting pharmacy operations
- Partner with vendors and external stakeholders to ensure program alignment
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend operational improvements
- Lead cross-functional projects related to pharmacy performance metrics
- Translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations on program performance
- Assist in the evaluation of new pharmacy programs and pilot initiatives
- Track key performance indicators for pharmacy operations
- Facilitate communication between pharmacy, analytics, and operations teams
- Support budget forecasting and financial modeling for pharmacy programs
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance variances
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy benefit trends and market dynamics
- Contribute to the development of strategic goals for pharmacy services
- Ensure data integrity across pharmacy reporting systems
- Coordinate with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure
- Manage timelines and deliverables for performance improvement projects
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within pharmacy operations
- Provide subject matter expertise during system upgrades or transitions
- Support audit readiness and documentation for pharmacy programs
