Mass General Brigham is hiring a Per Diem Rehab Aide for Brigham and Women's Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine exercises and supporting functional activities under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist or therapy assistant.
What You'll Do
- Prepare patients for treatment by the therapist.
- Assist therapists during therapy sessions.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Transfer and transport patients in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, orderly condition.
- Assist with inventory control under the oversight of the Purchasing Clerk.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and cleaning of rehabilitation equipment.
- Assist in greeting and escorting patients to facilitate smooth departmental flow.
- Assist therapists with patient care under direct supervision in accordance with state licensing regulations.
- Perform secretarial duties, as oriented, in the absence of the administrative or ambulatory practice secretaries.
- Complete other appropriate duties as assigned.
- Assist the department with filing, photocopying, and general organizational activities.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working in a health care setting.
- 0-1 year of experience working as a Rehab Aide.
- A genuine interest in working in a rehabilitation department and helping others.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $18.22 - $26.06 per hour.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at 75 Francis Street.
