Support a global team through every stage of the employee journey in this 12-month fixed-term role. As the People Operations Administrator, you’ll ensure smooth onboarding, employment, and offboarding experiences for a distributed workforce. You’ll serve as a central resource for employee questions, offering clear guidance on policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with labor regulations across Canada, France, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, ensuring consistency and a positive experience for all team members and contractors.
- Maintain and update HR information systems, including Zoho People, policy documents, and internal knowledge resources.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating with hiring managers and candidates, helping maintain an efficient and respectful hiring process.
- Collaborate with Finance to verify timely and accurate payroll data submissions.
- Contribute to process automation, policy updates, and organizational improvements within People Operations.
- Stay current with evolving labor laws to ensure global compliance in all HR practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations roles.
- Post-secondary education in HR or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and HR technology tools.
- Familiarity with managing HR processes in Canada, France, or the UK is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and clarity across cultures and time zones.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency in French is an asset, reflecting the multilingual nature of the team.
Work Environment
This role operates in a remote-first setting, supporting team members across multiple countries. While remote work is the standard, there are optional office spaces available in Montreal, Canada, and Cambridge, UK.
