Pronto Manufacturing & Fulfillment is looking for a Content Update Editor to join the team behind Serious Eats. In this remote role, you will be part of the Quality Team focused on improving existing articles by revising outdated information, polishing copy, and expanding text to enhance the reader experience, drive traffic, and ensure content accuracy.
What You'll Do
- Research and perform revisions, SEO updates, and rewrites to content following project instructions, SEO best practices, and brand guidelines.
- Fact-check and copy edit on top of any larger revisions and updates.
- Source and add imagery that aligns with project guidelines and brand visual style.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years experience editing in the food and beverage space.
- Extensive knowledge of cooking, recipes, and different kinds of cuisines.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of and experience in implementing SEO best practices.
- Comfortable with content management systems, including WordPress.
- Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently, independently, and accurately.
- Comfortable working remotely.
- Access to a smartphone, computer (not a tablet), and a secure internet connection.
- Must live in the United States.
- Able to commit to 10-15 hours of work per week.
Nice to Have
- Editing experience preferably for a digital brand.
