At EY, you will join our People Consulting practice as a People Con-HR Transformation and Tech Payroll Analyst Senior Manager. In this pivotal role, you will develop global payroll strategies, assess and implement vendor solutions, and advise clients on their payroll operating models to support broader business initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Develop global payroll strategies, including payroll solution vendor assessment, selection, and implementation.
- Advise on global payroll operating models and lead payroll transformation activities.
- Manage and oversee payroll best practices and payroll service delivery models to support clients' global challenges.
- Manage the preparation, processing, and administration of payroll-related project activities to improve efficiency and reduce cost and risk.
- Ensure global payroll advisory, technology solution support, and transformation services run smoothly.
- Roll out payroll improvement initiatives and efficiency opportunities.
- Lead and direct teams of professionals with diverse skills, providing constructive on-the-job feedback and coaching.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Manage risk in the delivery of quality client services.
- Generate and manage new business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Law, MIS, Statistics, HR, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field and 8 years of related work experience (including 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work). Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the same fields and 7 years of related work experience.
- 3 years of experience in large-scale payroll projects at a mid-sized/regional to large-sized national professional services or consulting firm.
- 5 years of global payroll consulting experience at a mid-sized/regional to large-sized national firm, including helping clients select HR technology vendors (e.g., ADP, Core HR, PeopleSoft/Oracle, SAP, UKG, Dayforce, Workday).
- 3 years of project management experience with global or multi-national payroll projects, including budget and scope management.
- 5 years of experience defining requirements, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing payroll solutions under multiple deadlines.
- 2 years of experience in global payroll analytics and strategy.
- 3 years of combined experience with domestic, regional, multi-country, and global payroll service delivery models.
- 3 years of experience with technology solutions including reports, strategies, assessments, and process designs, considering risks.
- 7 years of experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 3 years of experience supervising a team of junior consulting professionals.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%, with up to 20% being international.
