The University of British Columbia (UBC) is hiring a People Business Partner to provide strategic HR support and partnership to our Product & Technology teams.
What You'll Do
- Partner with leadership to develop people strategies aligned with product and technology goals.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and career development.
- Analyze people metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve team effectiveness.
- Coach managers on leadership practices, team dynamics, and organizational design.
- Collaborate on talent initiatives including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or similar role in a technology environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Global Technology Park Tower E Rd, Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India.
