Veralto, a company with a unifying purpose of Safeguarding the World’s Most Vital Resources, is hiring a Payroll Partner to join our HR Services team. In this remote role located in Czechia, you will manage payroll inquiries and the complete payroll cycle for our EMEA regions, with a primary focus on the Netherlands and Belgium.
What You'll Do
- Manage your assigned caseload for Tier 1 requests, responding to payroll inquiries and supporting transactional execution.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Own the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll data to ensure timely and compliant salary payments.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors to guarantee accurate calculations and timely submissions for taxes and social security.
- Interact with HR and Finance by updating the HRIS system with hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes.
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, document procedures, and maintain internal controls.
- Handle correspondence with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities.
- Process supplementary insurance and pension plans.
- Prepare regular payroll reports and statistics, issue certificates, reconcile accounts, and assist with annual financial statements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience executing payroll.
- Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Experience working within multicultural, international teams, including collaboration with Finance and HR business partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proficient in the English language.
- Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of additional European country-specific payroll regulations.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Knowledge of additional European languages.
