Lola Blankets is hiring a Payroll Manager to join our Global Payroll Operations team. This role is a key opportunity to shape our global payroll function, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient processes across multiple countries.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and unblock the Payroll team, providing guidance and support.
- Own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in full compliance with country-specific regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters.
- Stay current with various international payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with payroll, accounting, and third-party payroll service providers.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in regional and global payroll operations.
- Strong understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Proven experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing third-party payroll service relationships.
- A passion for managing people without micromanaging.
- Proficiency in software tools like SAP and Excel / Google Sheets.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
- A productivity-focused approach, constantly seeking ways to improve and streamline work.
- Comfort and proficiency working largely asynchronously.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
