As a Payroll Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of payroll operations for a national network of performing arts programs. Working fully remotely, you'll ensure timely processing, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and verify payroll data from diverse business units nationwide
- Identify and correct payroll errors, ensuring resolution within service standards
- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, deductions, and employment records
- Process special payments, manual adjustments, and off-cycle payroll as needed
- Keep employee data current and secure in the HR system
- Assist with integrating payroll systems for newly acquired businesses, including data setup and employee onboarding
- Organize and maintain payroll documentation, templates, and reports in SharePoint
- Generate recurring and on-demand payroll reports for finance and leadership teams
- Support regulatory compliance, including submissions to federal agencies and unemployment claims processing
- Prepare non-payroll tax filings and assist with annual workers’ compensation audits
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration
- High precision in data handling and a commitment to accuracy
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a changing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion when handling confidential employee information
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with HR systems
- Familiarity with HRS and SharePoint platforms
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time, remote position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000.
